PRP

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a procedure in which the plasma obtained from the individual’s own blood is, after being processed, injected into the tissues to be treated. The plasma obtained is considerably rich in cells called platelets. The platelets, whose main task is to ensure blood clots, have great importance regarding growth factors and scar healing. PRP injection into damaged tissues ensures new and healthy cells grow in the body and supports improvement in the damaged tissue.

The PRP procedure takes approximately 35 minutes. The process is started by accumulating the blood of the concerned person in a special tube. Taking approximately 10 to 15 cc of blood will be enough. A centrifugal method is used to separate the plasma from the other components of the blood, quite rich in thrombocytes. Thrombocytes function as a reservoir for the growth factors that are required for repairing damaged tissues.

PRP may be used for the following procedures:
• Helps to remove sk • It gives the skin elasticity.
• Helps to heal acne, stretch marks, and scars.
• May be considered as one of the complementary options in chronic tendon complaints, in line with the assessment of the relevant specialist physician. • May be considered, following physician assessment, as one of the supportive options in cases of hair thinning. • Promotes new hair growth
