This policy explains which cookies are used on ir.clinic, what data they process and how you can manage your preferences. It is based on Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and the Personal Data Protection Board’s guidance on cookies. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device through your browser when you visit a website. They keep the site working, remember your preferences and let us measure how the site is used. We also make limited use of browser local storage, which serves the same purpose.
What runs before you consent?
When you first visit the site, a cookie notice appears at the bottom of the screen. Until you give consent, nothing but strictly necessary cookies runs — analytics and marketing tools are denied by default. This is enforced technically through Google Consent Mode v2. Your choice is stored in your browser for 12 months and can be changed at any time.
Cookie categories we use
1. Strictly necessary — Required for the site to function; these cannot be switched off. They cover session handling, security and remembering your cookie choice. Legal basis: KVKK Art. 5/2-f (legitimate interest) and the exemptions for strictly necessary storage.
2. Analytics — Let us measure which pages are visited and how the site is used, in aggregate and without identifying you personally. These run only with your explicit consent. Legal basis: KVKK Art. 5/1 (explicit consent).
3. Marketing — Used to measure the effect of our advertising campaigns and to show relevant content. These run only with your explicit consent. Legal basis: KVKK Art. 5/1 (explicit consent).

We also use Google Tag Manager (container IDs GTM-NRN22QW and, for the campaign page, GTM-5VZP97TW). Tag Manager does not set cookies on its own; it governs the loading of the tools above according to the consent you have given.
Is your data transferred abroad?
Google’s and Meta’s servers may be located outside Türkiye. If you consent to analytics or marketing cookies, the data collected through them may be transferred to those providers’ servers abroad. This transfer relies on your explicit consent under KVKK Art. 9. If you do not consent, these tools do not run and no such transfer takes place.
How do I change my choice?
Use the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom left of any page to update your choices or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Your rights under KVKK
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about such processing, to learn its purpose and whether the data is used accordingly, to request correction, erasure or destruction of incomplete or inaccurate data, and to object to a result reached solely through automated analysis that is to your detriment.
You may send your requests to cr@ir.clinic or to our postal address above. Requests are answered within 30 days at the latest, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller.
Changes to this policy
This policy is updated whenever the cookies we use change, and the update date at the top is revised. For significant changes, the cookie notice is shown again.
