CoolSculpting

Also called "Cold Lipolysis," CoolSculpting is based on the principle of covering the area of concern with excessive fat with a headpiece and cooling it. In cryolipolysis, controlled cooling is used to affect fat cells in the targeted area so that they may be gradually cleared by the body over time. Maintaining the appearance achieved is related to the individual's diet and lifestyle. Broken down fat cells are discharged through the kidneys.

The effect on the targeted area varies according to the individual's tissue structure, fat distribution and the number of sessions; the possible change is assessed by the physician after examination. Each area takes about an hour to complete the process. It takes 2-3 months on average for the results to visibly come out. During the procedure, sensations such as cold-related numbness, pulling or tingling may be felt. These sensations vary from person to person, and temporary tenderness may occur in the treated area afterwards. The person can resume his/her daily life comfortably.

The number of sessions of the treatment, which people experiencing fattening problems prefer, changes according to the needs and fat ratio of individuals. CoolSculpting, which is a non-surgery procedure, shows its positive effects after the first session. People who prefer this treatment method see the slimming effects within a short time. Any change observed in regional measurements after the procedure differs according to the individual, the treated area and the number of sessions; no numerical outcome can be predicted in advance. Whether the procedure is suitable for an individual is determined by a physician after taking a medical history and performing an examination. It may be unsuitable in a number of medical conditions, including pregnancy, cold agglutinin disease, cryoglobulinaemia and cold urticaria.
